Delete A User Profile In XP
Each time a new user logs on to a WinXP computer, Windows creates a new user profile for that person. Oftentimes these profiles can become quite large and consume a lot of hard drive space. If you no longer need a user profile, you can delete it thereby freeing up space on your hard drive.
If you open the System Properties dialog box you can view a list of all the user profiles stored on a computer. Simply right-click My Computer on your Desktop and click Properties. Select the Advanced tab and click the Settings button under the User Profiles heading.
Windows lists the size of each profile, giving you an indication of how much hard drive space each profile consumes. To get rid of profiles you no longer need, select them from the list and click the Delete button. Click Yes to confirm your actions and then close the System Properties dialog box.
